Workshop in Karpenisi municipality (Central Greece) Feb 25th, 2014

The municipality of Karpenisi hosted a dissemination event about the results of INGEOCLOUDS. More specific, on the 25th of February 2014, EKBAA/IGME presented the project and its advances and the use case about the natural hazard management: Landslide in Karpenisi. After the presentation discussion with the participants about various topics addressed by the project took place.

We would like to thank all the participants for their attendance and especially for fruitful discussion we had after the end of the presentation.

 The 2nd Experts Workshop in
                                          Brussels allowed the Consortium to present in details InGeoCloudS Pilot2,
                                        to perform some training on data and services integration and to discuss various
                                        topics addressed by the project (Cloud Computing, INSPIRE implementation, Linked
                                        Data,...). Several other european geosurveys could be represented (UK, Sweden,

                                        for Geospatial Data Publication and Access in an INSPIRE Context" at the PV 2013
                                        Conference.

                                      
This Conference, held at ESA-ESRIN in Frascati (Italy) from 4 to 6 November
                                        2013, will raise the issue of “Ensuring Long-Term Preservation and Adding Value
